I have Arrived

I am cold smiling to myself because I am stealing a Germans Wireless signal and that makes everything on Blogger in German. I hate that I can't take naps, so for now I will continue to stare at Gunther as he tries the get his signal back.

I bought the new Mother Teresa book, "Come Be My Light" and so far it is awesome, in a dark way that only me and MT get.

I'm gonna walk now cause I can't run in Germany on the first day...that would be overkill.

It's always nice to know that a terrorist plot aimed at the airport you just landed in and places you are planning to visit was broken up hours before you landed. It's just good clean living that keeps me upright most days.

I stink at International Math As Well As Domestic.

In 9 days I'll be on plane going to Germany.


In 14 days I'll be on a bus in Ireland going from Dublin to Letterkenny.

In 19 days its back to Germany and a quick drive to Italy for a 1/2 marathon and shows in Vicenza

In 28 days it's time to leave Italy and head on over to Brussels, I think a train might be involved in the mix somewhere.

In 32 days I'll be back in good ole Heidelberg, Germany.

In 34 days I'll hit London and in 39 days I'll be back In Germany just in time to fly home to San Diego.

Please remember that I have the math skills of a slow monkey. So not all times are accurate. The accurate part of my story is that it will take me 9 whole days to pack and days and 20 hours to realize I can't bring everything that I thought could fit in my suitcase.

Ohio and Gelato

During my visit last week, the Poyo sisters (not to be confused with the singing group from the 1920's) took me to a new gelato joint just outside of Steubenville. Nice try but it just wasn't the same...it was missing the jittery-like high and craving for 8 more cones after eating the first one. 3 more weeks till I hit Italy...be warned Gelaterias.
